Nerdtastic.
Do you like Star Wars? Star Trek? Space Invaders? Lord of the Rings? Duran Duran? Spider-Man? Donkey Kong? Dungeons and Dragons? World of Warcraft? The Dark Tower? Harry Potter? Journey? John Hughes Movies? Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy? Battlestar Galactica? Time-traveling DeLoreans?
I would go on, but there are too many references to keep track of. Anyway, I’m willing to bet that if you follow me, you’re into at least one of these things, if not several (I mean, just look at my posts). If so, then this book is for you. A sci-fi/fantasy/gaming adventure, Ready Player One is chock-full of all the pop culture and 80’s references you’d ever want, all of which make it a geekfest of epic proportions. And hey, did I mention the story is pretty great so far, too? (Check out a full review on Amazon.)
I’m not even done with this book yet and I’m already going to recommend it.
